Our Medical Assistant Course will prepare students for clinical and administrative tasks for various healthcare facilities.
Medical assistants could work in doctor’s offices, chiropractors, clinical labs, community care centers, home healthcare agencies, minute clinics, and urgent care centers. They are trained to perform primary and advanced patient care, including:
- Vital signs collection
- Venipuncture
- Specimen collection and processing
- 12 lead EKG
- Telemetry monitoring
- Patient intake
- Scheduling
- Insurance billing
- Risk management
Our students will be eligible to take certifications for CNA, Phlebotomy, and EKG during the Medical Assistant course.
